Lake in the Hills offers Parents' Night Out

The Lake in the Hills Parks and Recreation Department is offering parents three hours of "me" time during Parents' Night Out.

The first event for parents of kindergarten to fifth-graders is from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, at the village hall, 600 Harvest Gate. Resident registration is $15 per child, $18 per child for nonresidents.

Kids will play games and challenging sports, expand their creativity through arts and crafts, and enjoy pizza and an age-appropriate movie.

A Night Out for parents of kids age 3 to 7 will be from 6 and 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24. Resident registration is $16 per child, $19 per child for nonresidents. The little ones will enjoy games, stories, playtime, pizza and a G-rated movie. Children must be at least 3 years old and completely potty trained.
