Democrats don’t get own ideology
As a former bully, I am an expert on the subject. I do not see how bullying can be eliminated from public schools, because they do not operate on the basis of the moral law. They operate on the basis of politics and what seems right or wrong at any particular time in history. For example, today, picking on children whose behavior might suggest homosexuality violates the political norm.
Bullying is inevitable in a school because compulsory education pushes children into severe social competition among strangers from diverse backgrounds. Bullying results from the structural situation and poor discipline. Proper discipline, however, protects all children not just homosexuals. On the other hand, bullying outside of school does not violate the political norms. Rather, it reflects political virtue.
The recent anti-NATO demonstrations turned into a Democratic bullying party. Gangs of protesters dressing in black, wearing masks, attacked the police. Protesters threw rocks, sticks and bottles, and someone stabbed a cop in the leg. Occupy people, government unions and others who voted for Obama, Emanuel and Blagojevich demanded equality, the elimination of NATO and tax breaks for large corporations, demilitarization and other planks in the agenda of the Communist Party USA. Coincidence?
Certainly, this must seem most confusing, because both Obama, and his former chief of staff, Emanuel-now, Da Mayor-hard-core Democrats, loved the NATO summit. Barack even embraced the Occupy people some time ago. Mayor Daley negotiated the tax breaks for Boeing. Yet, the very people who voted for Barack, Daley and Emanuel have stormed the streets and thrown downtown Chicago into chaos.
All it means is that Democrats do not understand their own ideology.
