Palatine Public Library group holding used book sale June 15-17

The Friends of the Palatine Public Library will hold a used book sale, featuring books, CDs and DVDs donated by the community, June 15-17 at the main library, 700 N. North Court. Hours are 6-9 p.m. Friday; 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and 12:30-3 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 on Friday and free the other days; all proceeds benefit the library. The Friends group funds the Summer Reading Program and recently allocated funds for new furniture, outdoor landscaping and meeting room renovations. Visit palatinelibrary.org.
