Midtown Athletic Club Golf Classic to benefit Clearbrook July 23 at Kemper Lakes

Midtown Athletic Club in Palatine will host its 2nd annual charity golf outing on Monday, July 23, at Kemper Lakes Golf Club in Hawthorn Woods.

Chicago Bears punter Adam Podlesh will be on hand to challenge golfers to beat his drive on the par-3 third hole in return for cash and prizes.

Proceeds from the Midtown Golf Classic will benefit Clearbrook, a leader in the field of developmental disabilities with innovative services and programs supporting over 3,400 children and adults with diagnoses such as autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and their families throughout the Chicagoland area.

Registration and practice range open at 10:30 a.m.; lunch begins at 11:30 a.m.; and a shotgun start kicks off at 12:30 p.m. Format will be played as a scramble whereas players select the group's best drive, with each member then playing out their own ball from that spot to complete the hole.

Cost is $225 per player or $900 per foursome and includes lunch, dinner, drink tickets, plenty of on course contests, prizes, raffles and more.
