Civil War Days set for July 7-8

The Lake County Forest Preserve District’s annual Civil War Days event is set for July 7-8 at the Lakewood Forest Preserve near Wauconda. A battle re-enactment and other history lessons are planned. Single-day admission is $8 for adults or $4 for kids and seniors. Weekend passes are $12 for adults or $6 for kids and seniors. Anyone 3 or younger gets in free.
