World Class Basketball team wins Nike Showdown

Congratulations to the World Class Basketball 16U National Team on winning the NCAA Certified Nike Spring Showdown in Merrillville, Ind.

The tournament took place April 20-22, with World Class winning the Gold Bracket with wins over the Toledo Heat from Ohio 70-33; the Spiece Gators out of Kentucky 69-34; Missouri Impact out of Missouri 50-42; and ended with a win against the Spiece Gymrats out of Indiana 83-76.

World Class Basketball practices out of the Northwest Suburbs and consists of players from the Northwest South and West suburbs and Rockford.
