Hoffman parks, Rep. Crespo partner for Halloween Bash

“I want to provide children and families with an opportunity to enjoy the Halloween atmosphere,” Crespo said. “This event gives the community low-cost, quality entertainment and brings local residents together for a day of fun Halloween activities.”

The event will include games and activities including Halloween storytelling, marshmallow toss, candy corn counting contest and a Buzzard egg hunt. Additionally, the representative will be holding a canned food drive at his booth. The event will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and the park district will be providing an opportunity to decorate pumpkins, crafts and snacks. Preregistration for the event is required and attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their costumes.

“Bringing resources and events like these to my district is a priority of mine and I hope we can continue to work with the park district on future events,” Crespo said.
