Girl Scout plans service fair Jan. 8
As part of her Girl Scout Gold Award Project, Anna Voinovich, a senior at John Hersey High School, will host a Service Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8 at Euclid Elementary School, 1211 N. Wheeling Road in Mount Prospect.
Her hope is to encourage members of the community to join together in service. Local service organizations will have representatives with information about their programs. Anna is also collecting donations for Journeys from Pads to Hope, so bring canned goods, copy paper or Post-It notes to the event. This event is open house style so you can come and go as you please.
