Arlington Heights police investigating domestic disturbance
An unidentified man remained in custody Saturday following an early morning domestic dispute in Arlington Heights.
Sgt. Mike Kearney said Saturday that police responded to the dispute just before 2:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of East Olive Street.
When they arrived, police said, the man had barricaded himself into an apartment with an unidentified woman. The man was taken into custody by 4:15 a.m.
The woman was unharmed. The man was transported to Northwest Community Hospital for undisclosed reasons.
“Thankfully the situation was resolved peacefully,” Kearney said. “The situation was domestic related and we have someone in custody but we are still investigating the incident.”
