Bartlett notches easy win

Bartlett 11, Hinsdale Central 1: Tori Burke (16-6) threw a 4-hitter with 8 strikeouts as the Hawks (27-8) won in five innings in the semifinals of the Class 4A Bartlett regional. The Hawks will play the winner of today’s game between Glenbard West and Wheaton Warrenville South in the 11 a.m. regional final on Saturday. Sydney Johnson led Bartlett’s offense with a double and a triple.

Fremd 5, Streamwood 0: Dani Fisher, Kaylee Jambor and Brittany Delao each had 2 hits for Streamwood in its loss at the Class 4A Fremd regional. Kaitlyn Hedger took the loss for the Sabres (10-23).
