Mt. Prospect concert series starts Friday

The Village of Mount Prospect’s Friday on the Green Concert Series kicks off 6 p.m. Friday, June 1, featuring the Friday Night Lawn Jockeys. The concert will be held in front of village hall, 50 S. Emerson Street. Sponsors are CravePizza and River Trails Park District. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets and can pick up dinner or snacks at a local Mount Prospect restaurant, or enjoy a meal before or after the show. Concerts are on the first and third Fridays of each month through September. Diving For Dynamite will play June 15. The events are a partnership between the Village of Mount Prospect, Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce and the Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants Association.
