Buck bounces back to Bush

“Blame George W.” How many times have we heard this from the White House during the past three years? However, the most recent occurrence tops them all.

It came in response to the $800,000 planning and partying session in Las Vegas held by the General Services Administration. An unidentified member of the presidential staff said that the preceding Bush administration was responsible for that fiasco because it had established and practiced a culture that fostered such lavish expenditures.

“The Buck Stops Here” motto was displayed prominently on the front of President Truman’s desk in the Oval Office. “Bounce Back Bucks to Bush” would be appropriate for our current president.
