Naperville Central shuts out Neuqua Valley

Naperville Central defeated Neuqua Valley 2-0 on Saturday in Naperville on second-half goals by Autumn Muckenhern and Katherine Short. Abby Joyce assisted on both goals. Jill D’Amico earned the shutout in goal for Naperville Central (10-1-1) with 5 saves.

Naperville North 3, Waubonsie Valley 1:

Zoe Swift scored twice in the second half to build on an advantage gained from a first-half Waubonsie Valley own-goal. Abby Boswell and Cora Climo assisted on the Swift goals. Allison Hitchcock made 5 saves in goal for the Huskies (10-0).

Glenbard South 3, Ridgewood 0:

Hailey Hawkins, Dani Pitaro and Jenna Brambora each scored for Glenbard South (4-7, 2-0 Metro Suburban Conference). Tara Zagone assisted on the Hawkins and Pitaro goals, and Michaela Miglio assited on Brambora’s goal. Goalkeeper Dana Jourdan made 1 save for the shutout.

Prospect Invitational:

St. Francis split a pair of games, first losing 1-0 to Bettendorf (Iowa), then getting a shootout victory against McHenry after regulation time ended 1-1.
