Vista to Host Senior Circle Health Fair Saturday, April 14

Vista Health System will host its annual free Senior Circle Health Fair for adults age 50 and better on Saturday, April 14, from 9 a.m. until noon at Vista Medical Center West, 2615 Washington Street, Waukegan.

The Senior Circle Health Fair will include free health screenings including cholesterol/glucose and blood pressure, various health service information booths and a healthy cooking demonstration.

“Our annual Senior Circle Health Fair gives the community a chance to come out and see some of the services offered at Vista and learn more about the benefits of becoming a Senior Circle member,” said Deanna Stich, Vista Health System Senior Circle Advisor.

Senior Circle is a Vista Health System resource that promotes health and wellness for adults age 50 and better through monthly programs, events and activities. Membership is only $15 a year.

Senior Circle members receive discounts on prescriptions, vision care, hearing aids, rental cars and personal emergency response systems. They also receive a wide range of other benefits: a free yearly cholesterol/blood sugar screening; free monthly lunches/breakfasts with informative presentations; a free meal coupon for a spouse/caregiver each day the member is hospitalized at Vista East; day trips to local attractions; excursions to plays, events and restaurants; local merchant discounts, and much more.
