Family movie night"Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" will be shown during family movie night at 6:30 tonight at Harrison Street Elementary School, 201 N. Harrison St., Geneva. Families can make cardboard cars in which to watch the movie. Refreshments will be provided, but you can also bring your own. The vaccine is being supplied by the Kane County Health Department. The Visiting Nurses Association of Fox Valley will administer the flu shots. Township residents 55 or older who provides a form of identification demonstrating they reside in the township will receive a free flu shot. Medicare will cover the cost of the shot for those who are covered by Medicare Part B and who have their Medicare Card. Vaccines for all others will be $15. Weather permitting, staff members from the 1890s living-history farm owned by the DuPage Forest Preserve District will take to Timber Lake to demonstrate how blocks of ice are removed, packed and stored so they can last for months in an icehouse.
