Lisle crash injures one

Emergency crews are on the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Lisle that sent one person to the hospital, according to authorities.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Maple and Yackley avenues about 6 p.m., according to fire department officials.

One person was taken to an area hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, and a second involved in the crash refused treatment at the scene.

Traffic is being diverted, but there are no major road closures.
