Palatine Panthers JV Big 10-1 plays final game
The Palatine Panthers JV Big 10-1 team played its last regular home game at Ost Field on Saturday, Sept. 24, against the other Palatine JV Big 10-2 team.
The JV Big 10-1 team consists of 18 players, all but one are eighth-graders playing their last season in the program. The majority of these boys have participated in the Palatine Amateur Football Association program for at least four or more years.
It was an intense matchup pitting two Palatine teams against each other. Although the JV Big10-1 team has seen their share of injuries since day one of the season, all players were back and ready to play for this final home game. Knowing that this would be their last game on Ost Field as Panthers, the players eagerly took the field. The families and fans were equally excited to watch this memorable game.
The JV Big 10-1 team won the game 28 to 12. It was an amazing game from start to finish and will be one that these players, families and fans will remember forever.
