Early learning screening:
Hawthorn Elementary District 73 will conduct a screening for children aged 3 to 5 living within the district boundaries. Children with delays in areas including speech and language, social/emotional, motor skills or overall cognitive development can be screened. The fall screenings will be from June 1 to 6 at the Hawthorn Early Learning Programs wing at Aspen School, 500 Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills. Call (847) 880-4377 before Thursday, May 12 to schedule and appointment. Screenings are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
