Area residents can explore local businesses and community resources, meet their local leaders, and enjoy an Indoor Farmers Market on Saturday, Feb, 23, at the 2013 Cary Grove Chamber Community Showcase, the chamber’s annual business expo. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cary-Grove High School, 2208 Three Oaks Road, Cary. Thousands are expected to attend. Parking and admission are free. For information, visit www.carygrovechamber.com.
“The Community Showcase is your opportunity to explore what is available in our Cary Grove area community and meet the people who make things happen,” said Chamber President Sandra Nies of BMO Harris Cary and Fox River Grove. “The Indoor Cary Farmers Market will again be a draw, as so many in the community attended this event during the summer.”
The Indoor Farmers Market will offer farm fresh meats and eggs, cheeses, baked goods, fruit pies, pickles, dressings, salsas, dips, seasonings, jams, specialty foods, unique accessories and more.
In its 31st year, the Community Showcase puts the spotlight on local resources. In addition to the business and community booths, there will be free door prize giveaways awarded at the front entrance of the high school to every 100th person who enters the door.
Attendees will also have a chance to enter a raffle to win two round-trip air seats to Cancun from Apple Vacations and Cary Travel Express. Some restrictions apply and taxes and fees are additional. Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5, but free coupons for raffle tickets will be appearing in local papers and coupon mailers in the days leading up to the Showcase. The $1 raffle tickets also will make you eligible to win one of several $100 local shopping sprees.
