20 headstones damaged at Crystal Lake cemetery

Police are asking for help locating two suspects who damaged about 20 headstones in Crystal Lake Sunday night.

A witness spotted two white males damaging headstones at the Mt. Thabor Cemetery, 270 Mt. Thabor Rd., at about 5 p.m. Sunday and take off running from the area into the Bryn Mawr subdivision, police said.

The suspects were wearing jeans and black T-shirts, police said.

The cemetery is at the intersection of Mt. Thabor Road and Route 176.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charges against the offenders.
