U-46 School News for Week of March 5

Elgin High School

On Sunday, March 11, the EHS PTO will sponsor their 39th annual Collectibles & Crafts Flea Market from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the school. Over 160 booths and 100 vendors will be featured. There will also be raffle prizes, bakery goods and other food available for purchase. General admission is $2 for adults, $1 for students and seniors. Early admission at 8 a.m. is $8.

Larkin High School

On Tuesday, choral students will present the Winter Choral Concert at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Admission is $1 per student, $2 per adult and $6 per family.

Streamwood High School

On Monday, the Winter Athletic Banquet will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the school commons. Winter athletes and their parents will be honored. Students will receive special honors and their letters/pins. For further information, please contact the athletic office at 630-213-5500, ext. 4999 or 5509.

On Saturday, the Booster Club pancake breakfast will be held from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the school commons. Admission is $5 per person or $20 per family. This includes pancakes, sausage, and a beverage. For further information, please contact the athletic office at 630-213-5500, ext. 4999 or 5509.

Glenbrook Elementary

On Friday, the Annual Family Fun Fair, hosted by the PTO, will be held at the school from 6-9 p.m. There will be games, activities, food and prizes. The cost for the event is $10 per person and tickets will be available at the door.

Laurel Hill Elementary

On Wednesdays, the Hanover Township Open Gym will be open from 2-6 p.m. at the school.

On Fridays, the “Moms and Tots” drop-in play group will meet in the gym from 8:00-9:30 a.m.

Liberty Elementary

On Friday, the PTO will host the annual Fun Fair from 6-9 p.m. at the school. Join your neighbors and friends for a night of food, games, raffles and more!
