Prostitution charged:

A Park Ridge woman pleaded not guilty Thursday in Lake County Circuit Court to charges she offered to trade a sex act for money during an undercover police sting. Solongomaa Tserendorj, 42, could get up to three years in prison if convicted of prostitution but would also be eligible for probation. Assistant State’s Attorney Danielle Pascucci said Buffalo Grove police sent an undercover officer into the GQ Spa in the 1100 block of Weiland Road on July 20 to investigate activities there. The officer said Tserendorj was arrested after she offered to perform a sex act on him in exchange for $70. Pascucci said the case was charged as a felony because it allegedly took place within 1,000 feet of Aptakisic Junior High School. Circuit Judge James Booras ordered Tserendorj, who is free on a signature bond, to appear in court Jan. 19.
