Free birth control for poor needed
I applaud President Barack Obama for facing the need for birth control. Single-parent homes are unable to support a family. Welfare and food stamps are a strain on the federal budget, and the state is in debt.
Hospitals could dispense condoms and birth control medication to men and women on welfare. People who can afford to pay can pay. Every hospital has remote clinics that can be used to help dispense it.
Abstinence, until people have the ability to support a family, would also work.
