Dist. 128 group to consider student trips

The Libertyville-Vernon Hills Area High School District 128 board’s program and personnel committee will meet Monday to discuss whether the Libertyville High bands should travel to the Bahamas for performances there and on a cruise ship in March 2012. At the same meeting, the committee will talk about possible European performances for the Vernon Hills High School orchestra, as well as proposed trips for other student groups. The meeting is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. at Vernon Hills High School. The full board will vote on the proposals at a meeting that follows at 7 p.m.
