A candidate who clicks on the issues

Politics and politicians have frustrated me over the years. It took me a couple of minutes to adjust to a candidate for office who came to my door recently to talk about the issues. But when I listened to him and his plans for my DuPage County Board district, it clicked.

He broke it all down to me as a taxpayer and what county government means in a way that makes sense. I consider myself an independent and shy away from the two parties. But Terrell Barnes will have my support for county board District 6 in the upcoming Democratic Primary. I found him knowledgeable in explaining where government needs to be reined in. I found him equally as passionately when he spoke about the investments county government needs to make. Terrell has the common touch which has been sorely lacking in politics in Dupage.

I urge all to take a careful look at the qualifications of all the candidates in the upcoming primary. I’m sure you’ll find like I did a candidate in Terrell to cast a vote proudly.
