Allanson Road to close:

Allanson Road at the Canadian National railroad tracks in Mundelein will be closed beginning at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14 and ending on or before 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 for crossing repairs. The detour from the east is Butterfield Road south to Route 60 west to Route 45 north. From the west, it is Route 45 south to Route 60 east to Butterfield Road north. Access to homes and businesses on either side of the crossing will remain open during repairs.
