Investigation of Schaumburg girl's injury continues

Schaumburg police continue to investigate how a 2-year-old girl suffered a head injury at her home Sunday morning.

Officers were called to a house on the 500 block of West Weathersfield Way at 11:10 a.m. and found the girl unresponsive, police said. She was transported to Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village.

Police on Sunday interviewed a person who was at home with the girl when she was hurt, but no charges had been filed as of Tuesday, police Sgt John Nebl said. No details were available regarding the girl's condition Tuesday.
