Legislators got what they deserved
There was some initial uproar from the various parties and the White House on the court decision to not restrict the size of donations from corporations. Those senators and congressmen who made the news and media shows all painted bleak pictures of possible things that would occur as a result of this decision. Mostly all bad.
What I found interesting is that the court ruled on the legislation that was passed by Congress, as it pertained to the Constitution, I believe the First Amendment, not on the social impact of the legislation. So, those who seem to be upset with the court's ruling should have considered that possibility when the legislation was passed. They basically got what they put into law, which in the court's ruling, was flawed.
