McHenry residents face drug charges after search
Three McHenry residents in their early 20s face drug charges after a search warrant executed on their shared residence, according to police.
Police executed the warrant at a home on the 2500 block of Huemann Drive in unincorporated McHenry after receiving information from the community about drug sales from the residence, according to the McHenry County sheriff’s office.
During the search on Wednesday, sheriff’s deputies found 90 grams of cannabis, illegal prescription pills, multiple scales and packaging materials and $1,700 in cash, according to authorities.
The sheriff’s office estimated the value of the drugs to be at $1,900.
Aaron M. Oberhuer, 21, Andrew J. Frances, 23, and Molly A. Freund, 20, all of the address on Huemann Drive were arrested and charged, according to police.
Oberhuer was charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, four counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and two counts of delivery of cannabis.
Oberhuer, Frances and Freund were charged with possession of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Frances was also charged with obstructing identification.
