Governor wasn’t straight with voters

This has to do with Gov. Quinn, who said during his campaign he would veto any state income tax over 1 percent. Instead, he wanted to raise it 2 percent. So now it’s 2 percent. Then they pushed it so fast before the new people got in.

I feel we have elected a governor who is not for the people. He should take a lesson from the Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle. She is working for the people. Also, I heard she took a pay cut to make sure the county will make the budget. When are these state senators and other people and the governor going to take a cut?

We are in another mess for four years with this governor who lied to the people.
