Wheeling Township Republicans host straw poll

The Arlington Heights headquarters of Republicans of Wheeling Township will be a voting site in the Saturday, Nov. 5, presidential straw poll sponsored by the Illinois Republican Party. All Republicans are invited to vote from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a donation of $5 to support the 2012 statewide GOP campaign. The headquarters is at 909 E. Rand Road, Arlington Heights (south of Palatine Road and north of Thomas Street). U.S. Sen. Mark Kirk will be on hand at 10:30 a.m. to meet voters. U.S. Rep. Robert Dold of Kenilworth is expected to be present at 11 a.m.
