Help for jobless is only temporary
Even though I’m glad that our political system came up with a two-month extension on unemployment insurance coverage, that’s no the answer. They were spending time to come up with a permanent solution. They didn’t. All they managed to do was to put the issue on hold until February. Does anyone believe they will resolve it then? No way. All they accomplished is avoiding working over the holidays. President Obama should bring them in during the holidays and keep them working until they do their job.
Sorry I couldn’t send my letter by email; I don’t have a computer or Internet service. I’ve been unemployed for 2 1/2 years without unemployment insurance coverage. I can’t afford it.
