Wauconda takes a walk on the holiday side
A horse-drawn sleigh, a scavenger hunt and a gingerbread-decorating contest Saturday were among the highlights of Wauconda's annual Holiday Walk on Main Street.
Kids were able to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, make out their wish lists and participate in crafts and activities.
Caroling, a tree-decorating contest, snowflake-lighting ceremony and an illuminated walk topped off the event.
