Give pets only to those who want them

There is no holiday gift more priceless and invaluable than a companion animal. Pet dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, rodents, birds, fish and reptiles can be captivating, entertaining and cherished by families and individuals. In many instances several of these creatures provide more loyalty and unconditional friendship than many of our human acquaintances and relatives. It’s imperative to only give a pet as a gift to families and individuals who are receptive and committed to embracing the creature as an integral member of the household. Animals ranging from majestic horses to tame rats are therapeutic for their human guardians who genuinely appreciate them.
