Tots to ring in 2014 at the Schaumburg Park District

The Sport Center, 1141 W. Irving Park Road, will host the Itsy Bitsy New Year’s Eve Countdown for children, ages 1 to 6, and their parents beginning at 10 a.m., Dec. 31.

The Sport Center’s gym and fields will be filled with inflatables for climbing, riding toys and areas to play a variety of activities. All activities will be unstructured and parents must supervise their children. The event will conclude with a balloon drop at noon to ring in the New Year.

Preregistration is required and ends Dec. 23. Cost is $8 for residents and $12 for nonresidents.

Itsy Bitsy New Year’s Eve Countdown is a Schaumburg CAN (Children–Activity–Nutrition) program. Schaumburg CAN’s mission is to align the community around opportunities that build a foundation of healthy activity and nutrition for children.
