Gambling on Island Lake agenda

Island Lake trustees will once again discuss video gambling when they gather Thursday night. The meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. at village hall, 3720 Greenleaf Ave.

Divided on the issue, the board has resisted calls from some business owners to legalize the installation of gambling machines in town. In August, officials voted 4-3 against allowing video gambling.
