Game notes: The Hawks need to take advantage of playing the Penguins without injured superstars Sidney Crosby (concussion) and Evgeni Malkin (knee). The Pens get shift disturber Matt Cooke back from his latest four-game suspension. Corey Crawford starts in goal for the Hawks, who are just 3-5-2 in their last 10 games.
