Carnival Care Fest for Adults with Disabilities & Their Families - June 3, 2023
Meadows Christian Fellowship (MCF) announced today that they will host its second annual outdoor "Carnival Care Fest" in the parking lot of the church, 2401 Kirchoff Road, in Rolling Meadows, on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 10 a.m.
An anticipated 150 guests will enjoy appearances from: the Rolling Meadows Police & Fire Departments; a "Red Carpet" Welcome; Rolling Comfort Dogs, Meadows High School Stampede Pep Organization, games, crafts, lunch, and raffles. This year's "Carnival Care Fest" is sponsored by three special needs organizations including: Meadows' Caring Friends, Voice of Care, and for the first time, In His Image. These dynamic organizations have teamed together to share their common vision - to equip those in the local church to embrace, empower, and engage with people who have disabilities and the people who care for them. Sharon Rickerson, Carnival Organizer and Caring Friends Ministry Leader said, "We desire to come alongside and encourage faith in God for ALL those we are in community with."
