Man jumps over counter, takes cash from Schaumburg Walgreens register

A man jumped over a counter and stole cash from a Schaumburg Walgreens on Monday afternoon.

Police said they received a call at 2:35 p.m. about the theft at the store, 1461 W. Schaumburg Road.

The thief, who fled on foot, was described as about 20 years old and about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, a mask and white shoes.
