Sewer work begins:Naperville will begin a sanitary sewer rehabilitation project Friday, May 28 in the East Highlands area. Work is expected to be complete by next May. Residents will experience minimal interruption in service due to the project. They will be notified via door hangers of when the project will affect their home. The tournament will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 5, at Madison Meadow Park, 600 E. Madison St., Lombard. Nearly 100 players from special recreation associations participate in the tournament. Volunteers are needed to serve as scorekeepers, unified partners, runners and officials. For details on volunteering, contact (630) 620-4500, ext. 130 or bcorso@nedsra.org.AAUW used book sale:Community members wishing to donate books to the American Association of University Women's annual used book sale can drop off materials between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. through June 5 at the Crouse Education Center, 780 Shoreline Drive, Aurora. The AAUW collects hardcover and paperback books, children's books, fiction and nonfiction, CDs and DVDs. The annual sale features more than 10,000 books, with proceeds funding the AAUW's educational foundation and scholarships. This year's book sale takes place June 16-19 at Neuqua Valley High School, 2360 95th St., Naperville.
