Bartlett Raider's third-graders qualify for state competition.

On Saturday, Nov. 6, the third-grade Bartlett Raiders competed at the Spirit Spectacular Cheerleading & Dance Competition at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates. Schaumburg Athletic Association hosts this event for cheerleaders and dancers between kindergarten and eighth grade. Over 3,500 athletes performed cheerleading and dance routines, and 11,000 spectators came to watch this fast-paced event. Two cheerleading floors were set up, with non-stop performances throughout the day.

The third-grade Bartlett Raiders received top scores and earned a bid to complete at the Illinois State Championship on Dec. 4-5. This is the first qualifying event for the third-grade team.
