Forum tackles dangers of social media for kids

Sexting, playing video games, social networking and kids using Facebook. Got questions? Get answers. Parents and educators are invited 7:30 p.m. Mon., Feb. 28, to the Twin Groves Middle School cafeteria, 2600 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove, for plain talk about these topics and strategies to help keep kids safe. Guest speaker Sarah Migas of the Illinois attorney general’s office, an Internet safety specialist in the High-Tech Crimes Bureau, is an expert on how kids use the Internet and the positive and negative consequences they experience.
