Our troops deserve better treatment

I am a veteran of the Korean War, and it is appalling to read about what the military is doing to our troops. Our reps and senators are sitting on their rumps allowing our troops to be treated like they are the enemy. To me its appalling to expect our people to fight a war and have them to pay for their own essentials. Is there no feeling for the morale that is expected?

Maybe our politicos should try sleeping under a tank or 10-foot barriers and in the sand — to say nothing of the over 100-degree temperatures. Quit sending funds to Pakistan for one. God help and keep our forces in spite of the way they are being treated.
