Roskam, Lowe need to hold public forum

Dear Congressman Peter Roskam and candidate Ben Lowe: As a lifelong constituent of the 6th congressional district of Illinois, I am seeking a public forum where both of you are able to discuss your vision for our 6th District and our nation.

As you both are aware, we are living in difficult times that are testing the fabric of our community and nation. It is during such times as these that the resiliency of a democratic form of government can only be achieved by providing an arena where the ideas, positions, and stances of each candidate can be openly discussed. For leadership is a serious responsibility entrusted by the citizens of our community. And only fully informed citizens can make wise decisions about to whose leadership our community should be entrusted to.

I am willing to do the work of organizing this event so that you both will be able to dialogue with the citizens of our district. I will be contacting your offices shortly so that we will be able to move forward with such a critical event.
