Question idle school buses

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6:30 a.m. To 7:30 a.m. I am driving Grass Lake Road from State Park to Route 59, taking my wife to dialysis in Antioch, and coming home again. There are always three Durham Bus Services buses sitting doing nothing. Two in a parking lot at Grass Lake Road and Rena Avenue and one on the side of the road on a very bad curve doing nothing! Why?

Does Durham Bus Service charge the school systems using them for this time? Do we tax payers have to pay higher taxes to pay these people to sit there drinking coffee, talking on their cell phones, or napping?

Don't try and use the excuse it is because of winter road conditions, because these buses have been doing this since the beginning of the school year. I hope that the schools will start looking at their bills from Durham and check the hours they are being charged for, and determine how many they really should pay for.

My income has been reduced in the last two years, but my taxes keep going up to the schools. Maybe we should vote no on all new school referendums so that they start checking their expenses and keep their suppliers in line costwise.
