Social programs will cost U.S., too

Has anyone thought to connect the dots about the problems that Greece is having with what is going on in our own country? Are we going to be in the same shape in the near future? It sure looks like it to me.

Greece is going to have to make some serious sacrifices in order to get out of their economic mess, and we're going to have to do the same. However, we have a Congress that's more interested in partisan politics and grandstanding than in solving problems. Who's going to pay for this? We are!

So it's time for a change, and that means new people in Washington. I don't care if my representative is a Democrat, Republican, Independent or a Tea Drinker.

Give me a candidate who is serious about balancing our budget, paying off the national debt, fixing our entitlement programs and is willing to work in a bipartisan fashion to solve our problems before we're "Greeced" into bankruptcy.
