Island Lake’s O’Malley resigns:

Island Lake Trustee Donna O’Malley has resigned from the panel, effective immediately, officials said Friday. O’Malley resigned in a brief note to Mayor Debbie Herrmann. The note did not divulge a reason for her decision to step down. O’Malley had been a trustee since 2009.
