Outlook: All eyes figure to be on Vernon Hills' DaVaris Daniels and Evan Spencer, who enter their senior year as two of the top players in the state. Spencer, a wide receiver/safety, has made a verbal commitment to Ohio State, while Daniels, a wide receiver/cornerback, has yet to commit to a college, although he's being recruited by many of the top schools in the country. ... Niles West's Wolves begin their second season under head coach Scott Baum. "Niles West is going to be much-improved," Vernon Hills coach Tony Monken said. "We're going to have our hands full. Anytime you play a school twice your size, it's never easy."
