Cheering Their Way to Springfield

The season is not over yet! Saint Mary School Buffalo Grove Cheer Squad has had a wonderful season thus far. Early in December the varsity squad received first place at the Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire) cheerleading competition. The squad went onto place second in the Shepard High School (Palos Heights) competition qualifying them for the State competition (Illinois Coaches Cheerleading Association, ICCA) in Springfield February 11, 2012. Last week the Competitive cheer team placed 2nd out of 20 teams for small cheer division at the Illinois Elementary School Association State Competition in Peoria.

Congratulations to the Saint Mary competitive cheer squad and good luck in Springfield – Go Bison!
