Veggie Fest really was a 'green' experience
Naperville merits accolades for hosting the savory, tasty, cruelty-free and ecologically friendly meatless cuisine that was served at Veggie Fest. The alluring food attracted animal welfare activists, environmentalists, health aficionados and many hard-core carnivores.
The humane event was a testament to the fact that we do not have to eat the flesh of our fellow creatures to satiate and fortify are palates and appetites. People who exclusively consume meatless cuisine reduce deforestation, air, water and land pollution and the killing of animals. In a word Veggie Fest was a very "Green" experience.
